Ein wundervolles Restaurant, wenn man in Ruhe zu Mittag oder Abend essen möchte. Ganz familiär, nur zwei herzliche Damen. Super frisches, selbstgemachtes griechisches Essen. Waren öfter als einmal dort und wurden jedes Mal sehr positiv überrascht. Sollten wir wieder nach Svoronata, Kefalonia gehen sollten, werden wir dort wieder essen.

The staff was very friendly. The food was great and they had some good wines to go along with it. I would recommend to make a reservation as they have a pretty limited amount of tables and it can get quite busy.

We had a great time at this typical Greek taverna! We ordered moussaka, lamb chops, beef stifado & lamb kleftiko and they were all delicious. The service was great too from this family run restaurant. You must visit this authentic Greek gem!

Στη Tavolata μυρίζει Ελλάδα !!
Κεφτεδάκια τηγανιτά με δυόσμο, Πατάτες τηγανιτές θεϊκές τζατζίκι χειροποίητο, σουβλάκι κοτοπουλο, μπιφτέκι γεμιστό !! Όλα νόστιμα και Ελληνικά !!

Beste plek waar we hebben gegeten onze vakantie. We zijn er in 2 weken tijd 5 keer wezen eten en elke keer was alles perfect, van eten tot bediening. Als je in Kefalonia bent is het zeker een aanrader om hier heen te gaan.

Lovely setting for some delicious Greek food. Souvlaki & gyros were great, the salad was huge. The hummus was a particular highlight, best I’ve tasted. Staff were very friendly.

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they care about quality and making their guests feel welcome. I enjoyed everything and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Φοβερή ατμόσφαιρα και προσωπικο! Εξαιρετικο ολοφρεσκο φαγητο, ντοπιο κρεας και πεντανοστιμα πιατα. Ιδανικο τοσο για μεσημεριανη οσο και βραδινη επισκεψη, το μεσημέρι με πιο χαλαρή ατμόσφαιρα και το βραδυ με πιο ζωντανο κλιμα! Το συστηνω ανεπιφυλακτα!

Sensational! Lovely people, food and atmosphere!
We had our last meal before flying home here and it completed our holiday.
It was just me and my son celebrating his 8th birthday!

Here’s a smoother, balanced version of your review:

Very nice atmosphere and an ideal place for kids to run around and play. The service was friendly, and the food was good.

However, there were a couple of disappointments. Although pasta Bolognese was on the menu, we asked if they could simply serve plain pasta for our 4-year-old daughter, but our request was declined because it wasn’t listed on the menu. We also needed a high chair for our younger child, but they only had one available.

Overall, it’s a lovely setting, but a bit more flexibility with young children would make the experience even better.

Friendly and authentic atmosphere, food and service were great, traditional greek menu, staff recommend the pork steak and it didn’t disappoint, would definitely recommend. Reasonably priced, price per person includes two courses and drinks per person.

If your accommodation is around or U pass by please don’t miss this place , the food is just unbelievable, top service . Highly highly recommended.and I don’t use to write a review… But the food is just yummy and big portions … U will eat the plate 😅

Echt een heel goed restaurant. Ze serveren de typisch Griekse smaken maar wel met een eigen twist. Echt heel lekker, we hebben er meerdere keren gegeten.

We visited twice during our recent holday(june’26)& cannot fault the food we had, probably the best so far & we have been to many places around Kefalonia…would happily make our way through the menu & try every dish
We had the pork steak(large & was like cutting thru butter,beautiful)
Chicken souvlaki(again very tender)
Humous with pitta(the best!!)
Beef steak(large, medium cooked,again very tender)
Lamb kleftico(beautiful,very nice seasoning)
We will be returning ASAP.
Lovely staff ,small amount of staff but very effective as the restaurant was full.

We had a wonderful experience here. Beautiful, authentic homemade Greek food in a lovely setting with such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home.

We had the stifado, moussaka, and kleftiko – every dish was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for traditional Greek food and genuine hospitality.

Amazing place.. quality home cooked food very very reasonable prices. Stunning location with sunset views. Sandra, Claire and staff are wonderful hosts with 5* service. We are regulars when in Svoronata, tonight was tuna salad, just perfect in presentation and taste. Then the orange cake and baclava with ice cream is just the perfect ending to THE best night. House wine also a lovely added bonus. Love this place, we will be back before we go back to UK. Already planning next years visit. .

With a limited number of restaurants in the area you’d forgive the staff for being complacent but far from it. A Welcoming and warm greeting was matched with great service, atmosphere and food.
